Life Timeline

When is your next window for love, a new job, money or a move? Pick a question and see the dates your birth chart emphasises — computed with the timing techniques astrologers use, with every date's astrology shown.

How the Life Timeline works

Transits and stations

Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto and the lunar node crossing the points of your chart that belong to your question, to the day — every pass of a retrograde loop included.

Progressions and returns

Your secondary progressions and solar-arc angles, your birthday chart (solar return) for each year, and the profection year — the slow clocks astrologers use to say which years matter.

Windows, not promises

When several techniques agree, a window opens. You see its dates, how strong it is, its tone, and the exact astrology behind it — never a vague "you will".

Questions about timing in astrology

Can astrology tell me when I will get married or find a job?

Astrology can show when the parts of your chart connected with a question are most emphasised: for marriage the Descendant, the 7th house and its ruler and Venus; for work the Midheaven and the 10th and 6th houses. The Life Timeline finds the dates when the slow timing techniques activate those points and shows them as windows. A window is when the theme is most likely to move, not a promise of a specific event.

Which techniques does the Life Timeline use?

Transits of Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto and the lunar node to your chart, planets stationing on sensitive degrees, secondary progressions and solar-arc directions, the progressed Moon by house, annual profections, solar returns and eclipses. Each window lists the techniques that agree on it with their exact dates.

What do strong, moderate and light confidence mean?

Strong means at least three separate techniques point at the same period and one of them is a slow planet or progression on a key point such as an angle or the ruler of the house in question. Moderate means two techniques agree, or one weighty factor. Light means one technique only.

Why is a demanding window still called the most active one?

Timing shows when a part of life moves, not whether it is easy. Saturn crossing the Descendant, for example, is a classic signature of commitment as well as of tests in a relationship. The tone tells you which kind of period it is.

Do I need my exact birth time?

It helps a great deal. Without it the chart is cast for noon and everything that depends on the houses and angles — house rulers, the Midheaven and Ascendant, profections — is left out, so the windows rest on fewer techniques.

Why are my signs different from my Vedic chart?

Vedic astrology uses the sidereal zodiac, currently about 24 degrees behind the tropical zodiac used here, so most placements fall one sign earlier. Both systems are internally consistent; Astroo uses the tropical zodiac throughout.
